Live Reading

Due to my strong connection to my second home country, Japan, I especially enjoy reading parts of novels set in Japan – but I’m not limited to that.
Beside the books I choose for my stage readings, I am open to reading requests of any kind.
I am familiar with many literary genres – mystery as well as historical novels, fantasy as well as essays.

To authors who want to present their work to the public, but feel uncomfortable speaking to an audience, I lend my voice.

I have performed stage readings of classical and modern Japanese literature in German translation at the “Japanese Cultural Institute” (Cologne) and the “Eko House of Japanese Culture” (Düsseldorf). I am interested in literature of any cultural background. My reading service is available for any host of a “listening event”.
